Workaround for Workgroups Users and Groups Issue

This article describes a fix for a problem related to the user groups in a database including Workgroups Portal and Virtual Ticket.

INFORMATION

An issue in Workgroups Portal related to Users and Groups has been found and a hot-fix has been issued in MetaCommunications Packages 157.2 and 159.2. 

For systems that have been upgraded to Package 157.2 or systems running Package 158 through 159.1, the Administrator should perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to Workgroups Portal as the Administrator.
  2. Click the Administration tab.
  3. Click New Group. Enter a group name.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Delete the group created in step 3.
  6. Log out.
