Forms Editor

Use the built-in electronic forms editor to replace and improve upon your existing paper-based workflow. No programming is necessary to create and deploy stunning and effective forms.

Form Logic

Email Invitations

When creating or editing users, administrators can now send email invitations that contain a link to the application deployment page. From the deployment page, users have a quick and simple point and click interface to install the desktop application and log in.

Solution Libraries

Solution Libraries are designed to enhance and extend the core functionality of Virtual Ticket 2010 and can include tickets, searches, scripts and reports. Use Solution Libraries to add functionality to your system, including full CRM, brand asset management, Human Resources Tracking and much more. or a Help Desk solution. Most Solution Libraries are downloadable free of charge at the MetaCommunications Developer Center.

Support for AppleScript

Use the powerful AppleScript language to automate activities or to drive any number of the hundreds of scriptable applications. Your scripts can even be stored centrally in Virtual Ticket 2010's database, distributed and executed by user’s desktop computers.

Visual Database Editor

An visual database editor provides even non-programmers with a point-and-click means for designing and developing their databases.

Custom Application Menus

Design custom menus and display them based on the user that logs into the system. Use menus to execute scripts, run reports, open finds, create new jobs, open browser windows, dashboards, and much more.

User and Group Permissions

Administrators set visibility and control rights for users and groups. Permissions can be specified right down to the field level, providing administrators with the means to create granular access and security policies that are as easy to implement and maintain.

Developer Center Community

Jump-start your implementation by installing tickets, reports, sample code snippets and complete solutions directly from the MetaCommunications Developer Center.

Library Import/Export

Library import and export capabilities allow administrator to import or export solutions. This is very useful for adding functionality to your system from third parties or for migrating changes (for example forms or reports) from a test system to production. Capabilities include:

  • Single-click installation of ticket and solution libraries downloaded from the Developer Center.
  • User Groups and Permissions can be exported and imported with corresponding entities.
  • All entities can be skipped, replaced or renamed on import.
  • New and open XML-based library format.
