Senior Technical Support Manager

MetaCommunications is currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Manager to lead our B2B technical support department and provide direct technical support and consulting. This position will also be involved in strategic planning and staff hiring.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer phone, LiveChat, and email support issues and requests
• Capture technical details of software defects and feature requests for our engineering department
• Create and deliver  written and verbal solutions, knowledgebase articles, instructional videos and advice for customer support cases
• Train customers on product concepts and features
• Create and edit training materials, videos (narated screen captures), manuals, online help and knowledge base articles
• Manage and mentor technical support staff

Requirements

• Technically knowledgeable and inquisitive
• Effective clear communications skills
• Scripting languages such as (preferred, not required)
• Windows Server administration and technologies such as IIS, .NET (preferred, not required)
• Microsoft SQL Server database management (preferred, not required)
• Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (preferred, not required)
• Mac OS X (preferred, not required)
