JavaScript Engineer

We are an established company with large customer base and currently building the next generation of applications for marketing & creative teams, using JavaScript for full system development including-- UI, server business logic and everything in between. We are looking for a full-time JavaScript developer to join our small, focused team.

To give you an idea of how we work, here's what your typical day is likely to look like:

• Check the issue tracker for the current issues assigned to your team. Discuss them with your team and resolve or make plans for resolving the pressing ones, possibly changing something in the process so there will be fewer of them next time.
• Pull latest changes from version control system and look through commit log for everything done by others that might be relevant to you.
• Implement UI and server side logic based on previously discussed UX and functional specs, using TDD (Jasmine) and utilizing large set of existing proprietary and well-known components.
• Do a demo of what you’ve done to members of your team to collect their feedback.
• Double-check that all your tests pass and check code back to version control.
• Write high level UX and functional specs for next features.
