Recruiter - Technical & Sales

MetaCommunications, an internationally recognized leader in the development of software solutions for the graphic arts industry, and based in Iowa City, Iowa has an immediate opening for a highly motivated employment recruiter. This position will source, recruit, and assist in the hiring of qualified technical and sales candidates. Candidates will also develop and implement strategies for improving community awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a recruiting and company awareness campaign
• Recruit top candidates via Internet, existing database, networking, cold calling, referrals or other methods
• Assist in defining job qualification criteria and duties
• Conduct candidate screening including interviewing, coordinating technical assessments, and reference checks
• Coordinate all aspects of the hiring process
• Design, track, report and maintain applicant database

Requirements

• Previous technical and/or sales recruiting experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Technical background
